I have worked as a technical adviser in a diesel engine power plant using palm oil for approx. five(5) years. I started from a half year after commencement of commercial operation. The operating rate was very low as 62% because of several happening of troubles at that time. By means of several countermeasures during one year, the operating rate became almost 100%.

(*) The four engines were made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The main reason of troubles was use of worse characteristic Palm oil which was different from the one at contract specification.
